A Little Bit of Knowledge
A little bit of knowledge can go a long way . . . I have been taking classes as long as I can remember. Unlike some people that I know, I always seem to be on a quest for education. Albeit art, photography, computers or business - I am searching for changing trends in communication. Typically, I do not read novels. I read and research for information. There is a balance for both left-brained/right-brained activities with most of my work. Often, it is difficult for me to wind down from "busy".
Professional Background
I exercise creative ideation, communication skills, marketing strategies, marketing research abilities, branding development and responsible project management with a diverse group of clients. I started in business twenty years ago (right after having three children). The first 10 years went well in a good economy. The last 10 years have been a struggle, due to many reasons. I focus on quality and detail in all aspects of presentation and promotion for InTandem's business clients. My attributes include a strong work ethic, leadership and creative brainstorming. I am a designer, oftentimes a writer and have a reputation for being critical.
Course Objectives
It is my quest to design and implement quality web pages. That means that content, creation, design and function are all equally important to me. I enjoy using computer software to design, photograph and illustrate. I expect this class will increase my skill set in web design, and it will assist in increasing my abilities in the creation of Web information. The knowledge I take from this course will be used well, and I may share it with others in the near future.
