Web Design Final Proposal
ÒPersonal Site PortfolioÓ
I have spent several hours considering this project. Probably, too many hours. I have three not-for-profits that wish to have websites, and board members that have discussed these with me. Actually more than three, if you add the requests from the last few years. And, since I have a tendency to put others before me, it was a hard decision to choose what to do.
When, my husband, David made his suggestions . . . it was a site for our Dogs. I donÕt have a personal site, and doing one for the dogs seemed silly. IÕll probably use their images on the Spay Today site, and they donÕt need large egos. They all think they are ÒalphasÓ. And, I may use them in this web site. I finally have decided to create a portfolio site.
In the last few weeks I have been agonizing over starting new concept designs for an InTandem business site. Two of our business sites need major overhauls. They are very dated, and need a fresh look. I do not wish to undertake this task for a few months. I am just not mentally ready to place income over design. When you design for your business, you arenÕt working for profit. Maybe creating a personal site will give me more concept ideas, and set me on a design path. I need a path of creativity.
Chosen Web Site Topic – Georgina QuinnÕs Personal Portfolio
Site Map will include:
1. About – A basic Introduction and will include a ResumŽ page under this Link.
2. Design (primarily print graphics)
3. Photo (any subject)
4. Illustration (any medium)
5. Random (will include schoolwork, and maybe the dogs!)
I will probably limit the portfolio to seven images for each category (photo, design, illustration). It will likely incorporate Flash for images, but I donÕt want it too complicated. And, I will have a Contact email link.
Colors
I havenÕt decided, but this is a direction.

Periwinkle Blue - 8AA4F3
Lavender - A78AF4
I wear black. I wear brown. The type font will fall into one of these two colors!
Research
I probably have too much to look at. And, most of these are too complicated. But still, they are inspiration!

This could be a good portfolio idea. And, it incorporates photography and illustration.
Nice menu and about page. I like the colors, too.
